NURSERY

We finally finished the nursery last night.  Kasey is currently scheduled for a cesarean section next Thursday.  You know me,  always waiting till the last minute to get things done.  The baby bedding should be in at the end of this week.  Our theme is Winnie the Pooh.  and the colors we used were  organic celery green,  amazing azalea pink and wild begonia yellow.  It was a little bit more of a task than I had anticipated to repaint the room and do all the stripes.  We love it and can't wait to bring Melby home to her new room.  Here are some pictures I took this morning.

TROTTER MATERNITY PHOTOS 2011

BIRTHING 101 CLASS

Last night we finished up our four night Birthing 101 Class.  We learned quite a bit,  but I think Kasey and I are still scared to death of the whole situation.  Luckily we will have a doula to coach us through the entire process, " HEE-HEE-HEE-WHOOOOOOO.  Before we left last night all the dads we're able to try on the Empathy Belly.  I do feel sorry for Kasey now and I am so blessed for her to be able to carry our lil' Melby around for 9 months. 

Sunday evening we're meeting with a photographer to do a materninty photo shoot at sunset.  I'll post the pictures as soon as I have them.
