Cortlynn Danielle Doty (not sure if that is the correct spelling)

Everybody keep my little neice and my sister in your prayers.  Nichole started leaking amniotic fluid back on June 28th.  She was only 23 weeks and 6 days along.  She is now on hospital bed rest.  They told her,  if she could keep her in for 5 days things would look alot better.  Well today is day 11,  I believe.  Every day she can keep her in is 2 less days the baby will have to be in the NICU.   The last time I heard,  she was 1lb and 8oz.  They need all of the prayers they can get.  I will keep everyone updated.

Halloween Party 2009

Halloween is a big thing in the Trotter household,  it is Kasey's favorite holiday.  I have already been informed that we will be putting Halloween lights up on our house this year.  Every year we have a lil' Halloween party with our family.  My nephews always come and we try to scare them,  although this year we didn't have any tricks up our sleeves.  We have a pumpkin carving competition and this year we went to the Haunted Forest out east of Smyer.  Cade my youngest nephew stayed burried in my chest the entire time.  It was alot of fun and was deffinately a good first Halloween for our new house.

State Champs 2010

This year we took a little road trip to Austin.  Smyer,  where Kasey teaches at, made it to the state tournament this year.  We went down there with my mother in law and brother in law.  It was a blast!  Kasey and I watched every single game from small school 1A to 5A.  It is quite an experience and I hope my kids someday will get to experience that whole atmoshere.  The Lady Cats did awesome and hopefully there will be several more years to come,  as they are very young.

2009 Vacation

Sorry all this stuff is out of order. I am trying to get caught up on all the events in our lives since we moved to Levelland. In the summer of 2009 we went to New Orleans on our vacation. It's the third time we have been there. We stayed in New Orleans on our honeymoon. I wonder if that is why we love it so much, hmmmmm ??? We absolutely love that place. Kasey says we're going to move there when we retire. We toured some plantations and hung out in the french quarter. We love going and trying new food and visiting different joints. Kasey always has to make a trip to the french market. We did have a blast and it was a much needed vacation after all the late nights and weekends we had been slaving away back at the home front.

We bought our house in December of 2008. We finally moved into the house in August of 2009. We did an extensive remodel, and took the whole process on by ourselves, with the help of some family. We still are not 100% complete. It seems like when you get moved in you kinda get lazy. So, that is our biggest obstacle at the moment. These pictures are a flashback to 1977.
